The Team

Five members from three different countries comprise the Kukulcan team. The team name is inspired by the Mayan god Kukulcan, who was the wind/sky/sun protector. It was represented by a feathered snake and according to the myths, Kukulcan travelled from overseas and founded the Mayan civilization. In the team's name we can also read UK and CAN (of Canary Islands), showing the multicultural face of our members.

Name: Dave
Nationality: British
Age: 25 +/- 5
Crashed cars: unkown
Comments: a bit quiet, but cool...
Name: Ed
Nationality: British
Age: 29
Crashed cars: a few...
Comments: Edmund grew up in London and Oxford and has been professionally crashing cars and exploding their engines for over 10 years. His first love was a Rover 213 Vanden Plas, bought for £600 in Birmingham. Edmund believed that the Vanden Plas marque would complement his own aristocratic upbringing. During his formative early twenties he drove a Silver Escort XR3i, which he crashed on a regular basis. It ended up with a hand sprayed replacement bonnet and a wonky headlight. That was followed by a Ford Granada V6 - Engine fell apart over the M40, a Toyota Supra (Crashed), a BMW 528i Pimpster in Gold (Survived), a BMW 520i (Engine exploded) and finally, a Subaru Legacy estate (Engine exploded).
Name: Ingrid
Nationality: Spanish
Age: should never ask a woman this...
Crashed cars: should not ask again...
Comments: the most nervous member of the team since it's the first time she does a long trip... so hopefully we will not end up in jail.
Name: Itzam
Nationality: Mexican
Age: 31
Crashed cars: none?
Comments: As the oldest member in the crew, he might be the most experienced. Itzam travelled in south America for two months on a 500cc motorbike, and alone.
Name: Gustavo
Nationality: Mexican
Age: 29
Crashed cars: 0.1
Comments: Gustavo knows nothing about cars (and also in general, he doesn't know anything), but he is cracy enough to get them all involved into this rally.
